I’m declaring the viral trend “We listen but don’t judge” to be considered a universal law! Seriously. Living in a time where we are all bombarded with images and videos of people “living their best life” (…maybe?), we are, as a society, only expecting to give and receive one’s highlight reel versus allowing people to feel comfortable and safe enough to show up and share raw-life moments—minus judgment.

So many are fighting battles that we are not comfortable enough sharing, too often experiencing unnecessary embarrassment, shame, guilt, etc. Little do we know that these battles have space—space to encourage, space to help heal, space to provide knowledge and understanding.
