PITTSBURGH -- The knee injury Pittsburgh Steelers safety Miles Killebrew suffered against the Cleveland Browns is ‘significant' according to head coach Mike Tomlin. While he offered no specifics, it seems the team has lost their special teams captain for a significant period of time.
Killebrew laid down on the ground for some time before being helped off by trainers and putting little weight on the knee. He was immediately ushered into the blue medical tent where he was then carted off the field into the locker room.
He has been selected as the team’s special teams captain every season since 2022. Killebrew has been a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro with the team since inking a deal with them.
