QUINCY — Reservations are due Tuesday for the Quincy Preservation Commission’s 35th annual Preservation Dinner.
The dinner will take place Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Quincy Country Club, 2410 State. The evening begins with a cash bar at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. featuring pork or chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and butter and cheesecake.
Anthony Rubano will speak on mid-modern architecture in Quincy. Rubano, an architect, has been a historic preservation officer with the state since October 1999 and a visiting faculty member of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for nearly 25 years.
