The convicted persons, Sahil Ahmad Rather, son of Manzoor Ahmad Rather, and Mohd Hussain Rather, son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather—both residents of Kangan—were found guilty of creating a disturbance in a drunken state, thereby disrupting public peace and tranquillity.

Following due legal proceedings, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) Court, Kangan, sentenced both individuals to community service, directing them to clean the premises of the court as part of their punishment.
