COLUMBIA, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A South Carolina congressman has found himself at odds with the state’s top law enforcement agency.
Earlier this week, Rep. Ralph Norman wrote a letter to the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division in which he demanded answers about why an alleged killer was out on the streets when a 22-year-old woman was shot in May in Columbia.
Logan Federico, a Waxhaw native, was visiting friends when Alexander Dickey allegedly broke into the home where she was staying, stole credit cards, and then shot and killed Federico.
Following emotional testimony from Logan’s father during a congressional hearing in Charlotte last month, Norman has called for changes at several law enforcement agencies. In Norman’s letter to SLED, the congressman questioned why Dickey,
