One round of our nor’easter has delivered more than 2 inches of rain, and another round is fast on its heels.

The storm so far has managed to keep much of MetroWest and coastal communities covered in an array of clouds, since Sunday midday.

The rain has danced in and out in spells, heavy and times, and a nuisance at others. This is expected for the remainder of Monday, and some of Tuesday too.

New rainfall amounts will deliver another 1-2 inches of rain, with isolated areas along Plymouth and the shore seeing 2-3 inches.

Winds do stay steady from the northeast, thus a coastal flood threat grows midafternoon. This is a function of high tide and an on-shore wind.
