For the first time since 2019, Louisville basketball has cracked the preseason AP Top 25 .

The Cardinals enter Year 2 of the Pat Kelsey era ranked 11th in the first 2025-26 edition of the poll released Monday. They finished the 2024-25 campaign in 21st, falling 11 spots after their lopsided first-round NCAA Tournament loss to Creighton.
