Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, fondly known as Big B, has once again shown his compassionate side by helping a family from Arambagh village in Hooghly, West Bengal. The actor recently fulfilled a promise he made to 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) contestant Jayanta Dhule by gifting his family a fully built washroom - a gesture that has transformed their daily lives.

During his appearance on 'KBC Season 16' last year, Jayanta had shared that while his home had a toilet, there was no washroom for his mother and sister. Moved by their situation, Bachchan assured him on the show that he would ensure the family received a proper washroom - whether Jayanta won prize money or not. Staying true to his word, the actor later sent Rs 2 lakh from his own funds to help construct the facility.
