EDINBURGH, Ind. -- A man is in critical condition after being ejected from a go-kart in Edinburgh on Sunday.
According to Edinburgh Police Chief Doyne Little, officers responded to the 600 block of Kyle Street in response to a report of a crash. Officers arrived and located a 42-year-old man who was unresponsive after reportedly being ejected from a go-kart.
Little said a witness told officers on the scene that the man was operating a handmade go-kart when he lost control, struck a curb and was ejected.
The man was transported to Methodist Hospital for treatment and was last reported to be in critical condition, according to Little.
