Iam urging my support for continued funding of the Cache County Library in Providence. Newly installed Cache County Executive George Daines has proposed defunding the county library.

While I understand residents of Logan and the north side of Cache County may not want to help fund the library located in Providence, residents of the south side of Cache County, including Providence, River Heights, Nibley, and Millville all live relatively close to the Cache County Library in Providence and do not have their own city library. Residents in these communities would essentially have no public library without paying non-resident fees for the Logan Library or Hyrum Library.
