LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) — Two horses had to be euthanized at Keeneland.

That’s according to the track’s safety reports for Friday and Saturday.

Keeneland says “Gotta Lotta Tempo” was euthanized on Friday after an “incident” during Race 6.

Then Saturday, “Cielo” was euthanized after an “incident” during Race 1.

They don’t elaborate on what happened.

Medical staff evaluated both jockeys and they were cleared to ride.
