As it turns out, if Justin Fields wasn’t promised the starting quarterback job when signing with the NY Jets, it may have been Tyrod Taylor who would have been the team’s starting quarterback entering the 2025 season. And, according to a report from SNY’s Connor Hughes, multiple players have voiced that sentiment to the media.
