Syracuse, N.Y. — Several Section III boys and girls volleyball teams were upwardly mobile in this week’s state rankings, and none made a bigger splash than Weedsport.

The Wolverines girls team broke into this week’s New York Volleyball Coaches Association poll, moving from unranked to No. 7 in Class D. That’s a payoff for Weedsport’s nine-match winning streak.
