A new veterans outpatient clinic is set to open next month in Linwood. Here are five things to know about the new facility.
Opening in November: The 22,500-square-foot clinic will open in November in the Cornerstone Building on Route 9, according to federal officials. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 1 p.m. Nov. 7.
Much larger and more advanced: The new facility replaces the 10,000-square-foot clinic on New Road in Northfield. It will double the number of exam rooms and include a lab more than four times the size of the current one.
Expanded services for veterans: Veterans will have access to new services at the Linwood clinic, including radiology and physical therapy, not previously offered at the Northfield location.
