HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - On Friday night, a South Spencer High School football player was injured while playing against North Central, causing an abrupt end to the game in the 3rd quarter. Dustin Sarver says he became scared and helpless after he learned that the player who was injured was his son.
"Before I could see who it was or what happened, he was completely surrounded by coaches and training staff from both teams," Sarver wrote in a post on Facebook. "Then I figured out who it was... and from there everything is a blur."
