For the first time ever, BYU boasts a Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.

Running back LJ Martin has now earned such honors for his effort against Arizona this past weekend, the program announced Monday.

In the Cougars’ 33-27 double overtime win over the Wildcats, Martin rushed for a career-high 162 yards with a touchdown to help BYU remain unbeaten.

Martin currently sits atop the Big 12 rushing leaderboard with 652 yards in six games, averaging 6.5 yards per attempt and finding the end zone four times. View Comments
