Mira Murati’s AI startup Thinking Machines Lab has lost one of its co-founders to Meta Platforms, the company confirmed last week. Andrew Tulloch, a leading artificial intelligence researcher and former Meta employee, has left the startup to rejoin Mark Zuckerberg ’s expanding AI division. The company said in a statement, “Andrew has decided to pursue a different path for personal reasons.” According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Tulloch informed employees about his decision on October 10.
