SIOUX CITY — The Sioux City Council will be asked Monday to accept a contract between the city and the Iowa Finance Authority for $104,000 in Iowa Homelessness Prevention Fund grant funds.
According to city documents, the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) has recently offered $104,000 to the city for homelessness prevention activities. The funding will be utilized to assist those who are currently housed within Sioux City and facing eviction. Assistance will be limited to a total of three months of rent.
