Left fielder Anthony Santander was a game-day scratch from the Blue Jays' starting lineup for Monday night's ALCS Game 2 due to lower back tightness, pushing Davis Schneider into left field and the lineup as the No. 8 hitter against the Mariners.

Santander had been penciled in at No. 7 in the lineup, but Ernie Clement was bumped up a spot from No. 8 to 7.

Santander went 1-for-3 with a single and a strikeout in Toronto's 3-1 Game 1 loss on Sunday night and has hit .231 (3-for-13) with no extra-base hits and two RBIs this postseason overall.
