Srinagar, Oct 13: Months after the deadline set by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) for mandatory registration of private coaching centres, many institutions in Srinagar continue to operate without proper registration, raising concerns over student safety and weak regulatory oversight of this rapidly growing sector.

Back in June, DSEK had issued a clear directive mandating all coaching centres to complete their registration within a one-month window. Director G.N.
