Israeli hostages reunite with families as huge crowds greet released Palestinians

In a region precious short of good news – there was a collective sense of joy today – as the remaining hostages were transported out of Gaza and hundreds of Palestinians were freed in exchange.

Families who have lived in anguished limbo for more than two years were reunited with their loved ones: the guns, for now at least, are silent.
