A Roseville man was shot by Roseville police officers after he rear-ended a police SUV, then pulled out a knife on police, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.
The man, 36, was in stable condition at a hospital after the shooting about 4:40 a.m. Oct. 13 on VFW Memorial Drive, just outside the Roseville Police Department, which is near Gratiot Avenue, according to a release.
It said the man was driving a Pontiac G5 when he rammed a Roseville police officer's fully marked SUV with an officer inside. The man then got out of the car holding a knife. Two other officers were nearby and fired at the man, hitting him, according to the sheriff's office, which is investigating the incident.
