MARTINS FERRY, Ohio (WTRF) — Fire crews responded to a structure fire early Saturday on Columbus Avenue.
The Martins Ferry Fire Department received the call at about 12:12 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters arrived quickly and brought the blaze under control.
Officials have not released details about damage or whether anyone was inside. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Fire Chief Justin Smith asked anyone with information to contact the Martins Ferry Fire Department or Police Department.
Authorities are also trying to reach the property owners and ask anyone who can contact them to notify the department.
