The flips keep coming in CoMo.
Missouri football earned a commitment from three-star safety Carter Stewart, who previously was committed to Utah. Stewart announced his decision via his social media accounts, posting “Something to prove,” and “Go Tigers ” on X/Twitter on Monday to confirm his commitment.
He becomes the third high school prospect in the Class of 2026 to commit to the Tigers in the past three days, following pledges from four-star offensive tackle Johnnie Jones and three-star defensive lineman Brysen Wessel on Saturday.
Wessel, like Stewart, was a flipped commitment, changing his pledge from Iowa State to the Tigers.
Stewart, who is listed as a 6-foot-1 safety out of Pearland, Texas, is the No. 1,990-ranked player in his class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Loo
