LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It's been 13 days since the government first shut down, and mass firings of federal workers have begun.

In response, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is reminding displaced federal workers of a website created back in April designed to assist those experiencing layoffs from the federal government. The website has a number of resources including career counselors , virtual career fairs, job openings and links to unemployment benefits.
