The Red Sox are expected to retain most of their coaches heading into the 2026 season, but there will be at least one change to Alex Cora’s staff.

Assistant hitting coach Ben Rosenthal, who has been with the Red Sox for the last four seasons, will not return, sources said Monday. As of now, that’s expected to be the most notable change. Boston is working through finalizing contracts with some coaches but outside of Rosenthal, the entire group is expected back in the same roles as they had in 2025, as WEEI’s Rob Bradford reported Sunday .
