WEBB, Ala. (WDHN) — An Alabama family got their miracle, finally receiving a call that could save their daughter's life.

Kaitlynn Mosley, 8, had been battling stage four kidney failure for the past nine months as her family desperately waited for a transplant.

The Mosleys were in Orlando for a Make-A-Wish trip to Walt Disney World when they finally got that call on Thursday at 5:05 p.m. that there was a potential donor, and then another one at 3:30 a.m. Friday, confirming that the kidney was a match. • The Mosley's at Walt Disney World

The family drove all night from Orlando to the Birmingham Children's Hospital, where Kaitlynn underwent transplant surgery.
