Woody Allen remembered his friend Diane Keaton in an essay published on Oct. 12, one day after her death was announced.
Keaton died at age 79 , her daughter, Dexter Keaton White, and the actor's producer, Dori Rath, told NBC News on Oct. 11. They both did not provide any details surrounding Keaton's death.
Allen wrote about his decades-long friendship and creative partnership with Keaton in an essay published in The Free Press .
"It’s grammatically incorrect to say 'most unique,' but all rules of grammar, and I guess anything else, are suspended when talking about Diane Keaton," Allen wrote.
