ODESSA, Fla. (WWSB) - Two men are behind bars following what deputies are calling a terrifying home invasion in Hillsborough County.

On Aug. 19, the suspects forced the victims into their Odessa garage at gunpoint before fleeing when an alarm was triggered, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives later discovered an AirTag tracking device taped beneath the victim’s vehicle.

Both suspects were identified. Luis Charles, 26, was taken into custody in Tampa on Oct. 8 and Odardy Maldonado-Rodriguez, 32, was arrested in Pasco County on Oct. 10.

Their charges include armed burglary of a dwelling with assault or battery and armed kidnapping while committing a felony.
