TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A landmark reunion is set to bring together the cast and creator of "Resurrection Boulevard," celebrating 25 years since it became the first television show to feature an all-Latino cast.
This event will raise funds for the Leoni Filmmaking Scholarship, benefiting local high school film students. It will take place at Tucson's Fox Theatre, 17 W. Congress St., at 3 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Attendees will enjoy a screening of the pilot episode, a highlight reel and a live Q&A session with the cast and creator Dennis Leoni, who has strong ties to Tucson, according to a Elephant Scout Productions spokesperson. Notable attendees include Esai Morales, Nicholas Gonzalez, Michael DeLorenzo, Tony Plana, Ruth Livier, Adam Rodriguez, and Rudy Ramos.
