Furious Vodafone customers are demanding compensation after a huge outage left thousands without internet and mobile services across the UK for hours. The disruption began shortly after 3pm and is still ongoing, with widespread reports of issues impacting broadband , 4G and 5G services. ‌

The outage left over 130,000 people unable to get online at its peak, sparking fury among users, workers and businesses who were all relying on connectivity. Vodafone confirmed in a statement earlier today that it was "aware of a major issue on our network affecting broadband, 4G and 5G services", adding that engineers were "working urgently to fix the problem". ‌

However, the outage has continued into the late evening with broadband still down in several major cities
