Ohio House bill seeks to give ‘car condo’ owners a residential tax break

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A car condo is a garage that can cost more than a house. Owners add kitchens and bathrooms, but not bedrooms, as living in them is not permitted.

It’s a booming niche industry where car collectors buy into luxury garage communities that host car shows, social events and sometimes private racetracks.
