CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Deputies are on the scene after a concrete truck caught fire Monday afternoon, shutting down a highway in Montgomery County.

MCSO reports that Highway 48 is shut down at Old Highway 38 and Seven Mile Ferry Road.

Deputies are encouraging motorists to seek an alternate route and avoid the area.

“This incident involves a concrete truck on fire. Further updates as they become available,” MCSO said.
