The Salem-Keizer School Board on Tuesday will vote on authorizing the sale of two school district properties that aren’t being used, including the former Centennial School in Keizer’s Clear Lake neighborhood.
The board will also vote on a new equity resolution that for the first time lacks any references to race or racism. Most board members indicated during a discussion last month that they’d support the revised version. The annual proclamation has been adopted since 2021 and has typically been a point of contention during board discussions.
