DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) - One person is in critical condition and another is on the run after a shootout inside the Wiregrass Commons Mall over the weekend.

Dothan Police Lt. Scott Owens confirmed that 20-year-old Korion Salter was shot and is in the hospital in critical condition.

Police say Salter, another man identified as 25-year-old Sharier Caesar, and an 18-year-old male walked into the Not Just Cuts barbershop in the mall on Sunday and confronted a man who was inside the barbershop getting a haircut.

According to Dothan Police, Salter began making threats to the man in the barbershop and pulled a gun, and a firefight ensued between Salter and the customer, who also pulled a gun.
