A documentary film spotlighting the Anti-Rent War is slated shown Tuesday, Oct. 14 at SUNY Oneonta as part of the fall 2025 Red Dragon Reading Series.

The film, “Calico Rebellion: The Anti-Rent War and the Second American Revolution,” was produced by Peter Hutchinson, an Oneonta author and filmmaker. It will be shown at 7 p.m. in Hodgdon IRC Lecture Hall 4 on the SUNY Oneonta campus and be followed with a talk by Victoria Kupchinesky, the film's director.
