Cambridge City Hall will reopen to the public on Tuesday after the conclusion of a police investigation.

City officials sent out a news release on Monday night stating the investigation examined “persistent disruptive behaviour” of a member of the public.

“The ongoing incidents included threatening remarks, inappropriate conduct on City property, aggressively pursuing contact with staff and Council and gaining access to restricted areas of City buildings more than once,” the news release reads.

“City leadership takes these incidents very seriously and implemented increased security measures out of an abundance of caution.”
