New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has likely “avoided a serious knee injury,” a source told ESPN on Monday following Wilson’s MRI.

The fourth-year standout saw fewer snaps than normal in the Jets’ 13-11 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in London, participating in 84.2 percent of the team’s offensive snaps. Wilson finished with three receptions for 13 yards on eight targets, which marked his smallest output since catching two passes for nine yards against the Buffalo Bills on Nov 19, 2023.

Later Monday, ESPN characterized the injury as a “hyperextended knee,” with the timetable on his return being “a couple of weeks.”
