“No Dictators” rally Saturday
LIHUE — Kauai will host two “No Dictators” protests on Saturday, according to Indivisible Kauai.
The Kauai rallies are part of a national cry from people who care and are concerned about democracy. Similar rallies are scheduled for Oahu at 11 a.m. at the Hawaii State Capitol, and on Maui at the Queen Kaahumanu Center in Kahului at 4 p.m.
A Indivisible Kauai spokesperson said the “No Dictators” gathering in Princeville is the first time there will be a protest rally on the North Shore. Participants are asked to join the group on the grass fronting the Princeville Public Library near Kuhio Highway from 9 to 11 a.m.
“On Kauai, in respect for the Hawaiian culture and people, we are calling this a ‘No Dictators’ protest,” the spokesperson said. Similar protests
