A comfortably mild morning will be followed by another sunny and hot afternoon across Acadiana. Temperatures are expected to climb into the upper 80s this afternoon as humidity levels remain low and comfortable. Overnight lows return into the 50s to 60s by Wednesday morning.

More of the same is expected tomorrow. Muggier conditions arrive before the weekend. A cold front will move through the area late Saturday, brining scattered showers and storms to the area. Cooler and drier air returns late Sunday into next week.
