Dollar General has relocated its Jackman Road store to the former Rite Aid building at 5002 Douglas Rd.

The company announced the move on Monday. The new store replaces the Dollar General that was located in a shopping center at 4925 Jackman Rd.

The new Douglas Road store will host a grand opening event Saturday at 8 a.m. The first 50 adult customers there will receive a $10 gift card, while the first 100 customers will receive DG tote bags.

“We are excited to reopen our relocated store in Toledo and celebrate with the local community,” said Matthew Simonsen, Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and store development.
