An alleged cannibal has been arrested after a spate of bodies were found mutilated – and eaten. Police in the Upper West Region of Ghana have finally caught who they think is behind several murders that have left the residents of Wa and nearby communities living in fear for months. ‌

According to local news sites, the suspect, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, is accused of not only killing and mutilating several victims but also engaging in acts of cannibalism post-murder – the extent of which has not yet been made public. ‌
