ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Six games into his freshman year at Michigan, quarterback Bryce Underwood’s had a lot put on his plate.
Not only is Underwood the first freshman to start at quarterback in over 15 years, but he set high expectations for himself in the offseason that he’s striving to live up to.
And while the Wolverines are a work in progress at 4-2, Underwood remains steadfast in his desire to become a better, more vocal leader.
“That’s one of my main goals going into each and every game,” Underwood told reporters on Monday. “And just trying to be more efficient and executing our play calling.”
