New Delhi, Oct 14: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) reported a 41% increase in Q2 net profit to Rs 549 crore for Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 388 crore in Q2 FY25.
The largest pure-play green financing NBFC in India, IREDA, recorded a 26% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 2,057 crore. Loan sanctions for the second quarter surged by up to 145% to Rs 21,408, while loan disbursements rose by 81% to Rs 8,062 crore.
The NBFC’s loan book expanded to Rs 84,477 crore, a 31% increase from the previous quarter. The government-owned NBFC’s net worth also increased by 38% to Rs 12,920 crore.
Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, praised IREDA’s performance for fostering sustainable growth and self-reliance in the renewable energy sector.
