After six years of enduring domestic abuse, Chelsea Brown was finally able to escape and is now turning her pain into a purpose by working towards building a non-profit organization to help women and children flee domestic violence.
Brown has spent the last year talking to Alberta government ministers, Edmonton city council members and organizations that help women impacted by domestic violence.
Through her non-profit organization, she wants to be a strong resource for every woman and child so they don’t fall through the cracks of the justice system.
