This coming weekend offers two musical treat bonuses for the public.

The annual Stirlingfest in St. John’s Church returns to its format of two high class concerts, one jazz, one classical, following a hiatus after the covid years.

The John Sherwood jazz quartet plays Saturday at 3 p.m. and the Madoc String Quartet are the guests for the Sunday afternoon concert. Tickets at $25 are available at the door with receptions following each concert to get to meet the musicians, included in the ticket price.

These annual concerts have attracted top grade professional musicians and delighted large audiences over the years.
