An asylum seeker carried out a 'frenzied' attack on a migrant hotel worker after a row over 'broken biscuits', a murder trial has heard.

Deng Chol Majek 'lurked' behind Rhiannon Skye Whyte as she made her way home after work before stabbing her 'over and over' again with a Philips head screwdriver, prosecutors say.

The Sudanese national then 'casually' fled the scene of the alleged murder, leaving a train crew to find the mum's bloodied body 'slumped' on the deserted platform at Bescot Stadium railway station.

Jurors at Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how staff at the Park Inn hotel, which was being used at the time to house asylum seekers, recalled there had been an issue over biscuits.
