The Olpe High School Student Council & Key Club will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Maya Bishop Medical Fund on Friday.

Maya Bishop, who graduated from Olpe High School in 2021, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments while attending medical school in Wichita. While in Olpe, Bishop was an active member of many OHS teams and organizations.

The community of Olpe has come together to support Bishop, helping to alleviate the burden of medical expenses. In August, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament was held at the Olpe High School gym to raise money for Bishop’s medical funds.
