PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) - The family and friends of Seth Stalnaker, an 18-year-old who died just months before his graduation from Lewis County High School in 2024, have created a scholarship in his honor.

The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation announced Tuesday that the Seth Stalnaker Memorial Scholarship will be available through the Lewis County Community Foundation to Lewis County students who are pursuing secondary education.

Stalnaker, who passed away on March 11, 2024, was from Ireland, West Virginia, and was a member of Lewis County High School's class of 2024, ROTC, and drone program.
