Troy police, with assistance from the FBI Violent Task Force, have arrested a suspect in connection with an Aug. 30 stabbing that happened in the parking lot of a Troy restaurant.

Dquavion Lamariee Broome, 26, was taken into custody on Oct. 9, accused of stabbing a man in the parking lot of Sedona Taphouse, located at 198 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy.

According to the Troy Police Department, Broome and the victim are known to each other. Investigators had “worked diligently” to locate Broome, who left Michigan after the incident but recently returned to the state. He was arrested without incident.

Broome faces a charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. He’s held in the Oakland County Jail, with bond set at $500.000.
